Respiratory Pathogen Panel (RPP)

State-of-the-art equipment provides precise, comprehensive and reliable results for our providers.

Molecular Testing (PCR) - RPP

CoreBioLabs respiratory testing uses the most advanced pathogen panel utilizing the latest FDA cleared hardware platforms. It is a comprehensive, robust assay that detects multiple respiratory pathogens simultaneously in a closed-tube, easy-to-use system.

Many common respiratory pathogens (viral and bacterial) have similar clinical presentation, making diagnosis based on symptoms alone very difficult. Influenza viruses commonly cause respiratory illness, but many other pathogens may cause significant impact on patient health as well.

Multiplex RPP Open Array developed by CBL simultaneously detects 35 viral and bacterial pathogens from the upper and lower respiratory tract. The array provides clinicians with a comprehensive infection profile for the patient enabling rapid and accurate diagnosis without the need for secondary or confirmatory testing to inform clinical treatment decisions.
